Who We Are:

The Friends of East Greenbush Community Library is a non-profit, volunteer organization committed to creating broad community support for the East Greenbush Community Library as a major and expanding cultural resource and vital part of the East Greenbush community.
Friends raise funds through its adult, teen and children’s book sales to supplement library programs and services, host special events including concerts and underwrite the Library’s Museum Pass program.

Along with helping to enhance library programs and services, Friends focus on:


  • Join the Friends . . . and help support your library! Members include people of all ages.
    Membership is $15.00/individual; $25.00/family; $10.00/Senior (65+) and Students
    Membership applications are available at the library or can be downloaded below.
  • Volunteer: The Friends are always looking for volunteers to join us.
    Call the library, contact the president or fill out the downloadable membership form if you are interested in assisting us.
  • Come Meet Us: The Friends meet at 6:30 pm at the library the third Tuesday in February, April, June, September and November.
    In January, the Friends hold an organizational meeting.
