eLibrary Elementary
Contains over 140 magazines and books for elementary students. Also includes the American Heritage Dictionary. (Supported by the NOVEL project.)

Gale Newsstand
Web-based full-text newspaper database which allows users to search articles instantly by title, headline, date, newspaper section or other assigned fields.(Supported by the NOVEL project.)

Kids InfoBits
Contains over 100 age-appropriate magazines for grades K-5. Also includes Merriam-Webster’s Elementary Dictionary, maps, flags, seals, charts and graphs.(Supported by the NOVEL project.)

Online language learning.  East Greenbush/Schodack library card required for access.


Dictionary, Encyclopedia, & Thesaurus
Provides resources that help people accurately define, pronounce, and apply words.

Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia
This resource includes encyclopedia articles, current news, timelines, quizzes and games, an atlas, and a dictionary.
Provides users with over 1,000 modern synonyms and a suite of helpful features and tools to help find the perfect word.
