Due to inclement weather, the library will close at 10:30am today, Tuesday January 27th.  We plan to reopen at 9:00am tomorrow, Wednesday the 28th.

AARP Tax-Aide

taxaideThe AARP Tax-Aide Program will prepare 2014 Federal and NYS personal income tax returns at the library on Mondays from February 2nd through April 6.  You do not need to be a senior or a member of AARP.  The service is free and confidential, provided by IRS certified volunteers.  Registration opens January 2nd.  Couples filing jointly – please register for a single appointment.  Register online here for your appointment (you may need to adjust the calendar month using the icon in the upper right section of the page).  Or, call the Reference Desk at 477-7476 (option 4) for assistance in making an appointment.

Saturday, January 10 from 12 noon to 3:00 pm with the UAlbany Navigators.
Open enrollment runs from November 15, 2014 through February 15, 2015.
