Join us for Indie Author Day where we will highlight this area’s local and independent authors, Saturday October 8 from 2pm to 4pm.
From 2pm to 3pm we will host a live streaming panel discussion featuring self-publishing industry leaders, authors, and others who will offer up advice and discussion on self publishing (sign up to attend).
And from 3pm to 4pm we will have a meet and greet style tabling event where anyone can meet, discuss, and purchase books from published writers native to the Capital Region.

Free for library patrons, this service offers over 70 self-paced online training courses in Microsoft Office, Adobe programs, web design, web development, mobile apps, Java, and more. To take a course, head to Webucator and click the “order now” button next to the course you would like to take. On the checkout form, select “webucator vouchers” as the method of payment. Call or visit the library for a voucher code.
